Good evening friends!
I have been very busy today and I haven’t had much time at all…and I don’t think I will tomorrow either as we are gearing up to leave for vacation Monday!
Why is getting ready for vacation so exhausting?
We have to do all the things to be sure we are prepared…cleaning, laundry, weeding and mowing, finishing custom orders…I feel like I could sleep for 24 hours just to get caught up!
I am so glad we are going away 
We need it!
So before I leave I wanted to share a little makeover with you…
This adorable dresser needed some love…structurally she was sound, but the veneer was chipped and needed some gluing and filling.
Totally fine with me!
I used Country Chic’s Chalk Paint in Liquorice to paint it up. I distressed her a bit and sealed it up in Clear Wax.
I buffed up that hardware a little and VIOLA!
She was beautiful! 
So…a great makeover for an amazing antique beauty…
she’s even better now
